GS Chem Co., Ltd. (‘www.gschem.com’, hereinafter referred to as ‘GS Chem’) establishes the following privacy policy in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act to protect users’ personal information and rights and to handle user complaints related to personal information smoothly. If GS Chem revises its privacy policy, it will be announced through the website notice (or individual notification).

A. Purpose of Personal Information Handling
GS Chem receives inquiries regarding products and technologies through the following menu items on the website to enhance customer convenience:

– “Q&A”
The collected personal information is used solely for the purpose of responding to customer inquiries and will not be used for any other purpose.


B. GS Chem does not install or operate any device that automatically collects personal information.
All personal information collected is based on direct input from customers, and the collected items are as follows:

1. Name of the inquirer
2. Email address for contact
3. Phone number for contact


C. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information
1. Collected personal information is used only to respond to inquiries and is deleted immediately after the purpose is achieved.
2. The collected personal information is not used outside the website, and it is deleted immediately from the website’s database once the purpose is fulfilled.


D. Rights of the Data Subject and How to Exercise Them Users, as data subjects, can exercise the following rights:

1. The data subject may at any time request the following from GS Chem:
a) Request to access personal information
b) Request to correct errors
c) Request to delete
d) Request to suspend processing

2. The above rights can be exercised in writing, by email, or by fax using the form in Annex 8 of the Enforcement Rules of the Personal Information Protection Act, and GS Chem will take action without delay.

3. If a user requests correction or deletion due to an error, GS Chem will not use or provide the personal information until the correction or deletion is completed.

4. These rights may be exercised by a legal representative or a delegated agent, in which case a power of attorney form in accordance with Annex 11 of the Enforcement Rules of the Personal Information Protection Act must be submitted.
